Who we are

Zentra Tax [legal entity name and company number — TO BE COMPLETED] provides a Making Tax Digital record-keeping and filing service for UK landlords and sole traders. For anything in this policy, contact zentra.finance@outlook.com.

What we collect

• Checker answers — income types, approximate gross income figures, joint-ownership share and whether you live in the UK, so we can tell you if MTD applies to you.
• Contact details — your email address (and phone number if you choose to give it) when you ask for your full result or join a waitlist.
• Referral source — a code identifying the letting agent or partner whose link or widget you used, if any.
• Usage analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless page analytics (Plausible). We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To email you your checker result, deadline reminders you have asked for, and updates about your waitlist place. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase — database hosting [region: TO BE CONFIRMED]
• Resend — sending transactional email
• Vercel — website hosting
• Stripe — payment processing (when checkout is live)
• Plausible — cookieless analytics

How long we keep it

Lead and waitlist details are kept until you ask us to delete them, or [retention period — TO BE CONFIRMED ON LEGAL REVIEW]. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email zentra.finance@outlook.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). [ICO registration number — TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE LAUNCH.]
